Manchester United and Napoli are discussing a trade deal including Marcus Rashford and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.
Rashford has previously indicated that he is looking for a fresh challenge.
He has fallen out of favor with manager Ruben Amorim in recent weeks.
The 27-year-old was kept out of Amorim’s match day squads for five consecutive matches.
The England international has been linked with Napoli and other Serie A teams including Juventus and AC Milan during January transfer window.
As Man United look for a replacement for Rashford, Napoli are said to be interested in an initial loan deal with the option to buy.
According to L’Equipe, the Red Devils are in talks with Napoli about an exchange deal involving Kvaratskhelia, but they face stiff competition from French Ligue 1 club Paris Saint-Germain.
Kvaratskhelia has held talks over a new contract with Napoli but an agreement has not been reached.
The Georgia international joined Napoli for €10 million from Dinamo Batumi in 2022.
