Cardi B: TikTok ban will not harm me.

Greenmax

American rapper Cardi B has stated that she will not be affected by the TikTok ban in the United States. According to reports, TikTok shut down in the United States on January 19 after its Chinese owners refused to sell the platform, as required under a law signed by President Joe Biden in April 2024.

Following the shutdown, a social media user with the X handle @1lex stated artists like Cardi B, who rely on TikTok to market their songs, should find alternate occupations.

The user wrote: “Now, all female TikTok artists must find real employment. “You come first, @imcardib.”

Cardi B responded, saying, “Babe, I’m getting a $7 million offer to do my own vitamins.” I can have you retired from your burger flipping job by tomorrow. Thank you, though; I have been assisting you in receiving your $8.99 Twitter check.”
