
Chinwe Nwachukwu, Gombe State Coordinator of the National Youth Service Corps, congratulated 1,268 Batch A, Stream I corps members posted to the state on finishing their service year.
Nwachuku said that 16 others will face disciplinary action, and 21 will be remobilized for various offenses.
The coordinator revealed this during her departure address at the zonal office at a low-key passing-out ceremony.
“1,268 batch A Stream I Corps members are passing out; those with disciplinary cases are 16 and 21 for remobilisation,” she disclosed.
While congratulating the 1,268 corps members, Nwachuku said, “My dear compatriots of the 2024 Batch ‘A’ Stream I service year, I heartily salute you for successfully completing your sojourn in Gombe State for the one-year mandatory national service to the nation and humanity at large.”
“I am overjoyed and extremely proud of what you have done during the service year. May all of your efforts and selfless devotion to the nation’s socioeconomic growth be honored, and as you step forth in magnificent style to greater heights, we return sincere appreciation to Almighty God for providing you the courage to scale through it all.”
