Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), has issued a warning to Nigerians about fire breakouts across the country.

Adeboye issued the warning while speaking at the church’s February thanksgiving ceremony at Throne of Grace Parish in Ebute-Metta, Lagos.

The clergyman urged people to remain vigilant and pray in the face of impending calamities such as storms and floods.

“I must share something very urgent,” Adeboye stated.

“At the start of this year, one of the prophesies was to pray against wildfires, storms, and flooding.

“We’ve only been here for a month, but we’ve already witnessed a rise in the number of fires worldwide. Nigeria is part of the globe, thus we must pray.”

Adeboye explicitly advised farmers prepare their plots for agriculture to avoid wild fires.

“Don’t joke with any form of naked fire around you,” he told them.

“And farmers, please do not burn shrubs when preparing their lands.

“Do not claim I didn’t tell you. “May the Almighty God answer our prayers and grant our requests,” he stated.
