A credible source familiar with the situation, who desired anonymity, revealed this on Monday morning, stressing that the NLC leadership’s meeting with the federal government is slated for 5 p.m. on Monday.
According to the source, the conference was a “dialogue on issues of national interest that affect Nigerian workers.”

According to reports, subscribers affiliated with the National Association of Telecoms Subscribers, led by Adeolu Ogunbanjo, have declared preparations to sue the federal government over the 50% pricing increase.
Ogunbanjo has advocated that if a telecom rate increase is necessary, it should not exceed 10%, given the hardships that Nigerians are presently facing.
However, the Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Bosun Tijani, blamed global inflation for the proposed 50% tariff increase.
