
Assistant Inspector-General of Police for Zone 6 Calabar, AIG Mustapha Muhamed Bala, has maintained that the Nigeria Police Force will remain steadfast in its constitutional mission of combating crime in the country.
Bala stated during a courtesy visit to Cross River State Governor Bassey Otu that he would be determined and resolute in combating violent crimes and criminality throughout his tenure.
He urged the citizens of the state to help with the police by giving credible, verified, and actionable intelligence.
In a statement issued by ASP Edim Obazi, Zone Six Command PRO, the AIG praised Governor Otu for his executive leadership in assisting the police in combating crime.
It should be emphasized that the revival of crime in some sections of the state has been prevented by the police’s renewed commitment to cleanse the state of criminal activity.
Governor Otu welcomed Bala to the state and assured him that he would continue to support the police and other security services in maintaining the state’s peace and tranquillity.
