Irv Gotti, the famed American music producer, died at the age of 54.
Gotti died on Wednesday in New York City after months of suffering from a stroke.
According to the reports, the record producer was taken to a treatment center in August 2024 and used a cane to walk.
He was said to have lost a significant amount of weight following his battle with diabetes complications, which led to a minor stroke last year.
Irv Gotti made a name for himself as an A&R executive at Def Jam, launching the careers of hip-hop stars like Jay-Z, Ja Rule, and DMX.
