Dangote Refinery has announced another price cut for Premium Motor Spirit, also known as fuel.
The firm announced this in a statement issued on Thursday by its spokesperson, Anthony Chiejina, via its official X account.
The oil company lowered its petrol ex-depot price to N899.50 per liter, down from N970.
“…We’ve set a new pricing of N899.50 per liter. This decrease is intended to lower transportation expenses over the holiday season.
“To help reduce transportation expenses throughout the Christmas season, Dangote Refinery is giving a festive discount on PMS. Starting today, our fuel will be priced at N899.50 per liter at our truck loading gantry or SPM.
“Furthermore, for every litre purchased on a cash basis, consumers will have the opportunity to buy another litre on credit, backed by a bank guarantee from Access Bank, First Bank, or Zenith Bank,” Chiejina stated.
This comes after the business cut petrol prices to N970 per liter in November.
GREEN MAX reports that in recent days, the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC) and oil traders have also reduced petrol prices in their retail outlets.
