The Zamfara State Sector Command of the Federal Road Safety Corps, or FRSC, has handed out N630,750 to family of accident victims in the state.

This was announced in a press release issued by the Command’s spokesman, Isah Aliyu, and made accessible to journalists in Gusau, the state capital.
According to the statement, the road traffic collision was caused by improper overtaking and overspeeding and included a bus with the registration number ABJ758XB and a Volkswagen Golf.
According to the statement, “The accident occurred on November 21, 2024, along Gus-Funtuwa in Tazame village about 1145hrs.
“Upon receiving the distress call, the FRSC standby rescue team immediately responded to the scene, rescued the victims, and transported them to the Federal Medical Center, FMC, Gusau.”
“The squad retrieved several stuff, Some things belonging to the victims, including three Tecno keypads, two Android smartphones, and an amount of six hundred and thirty thousand, seven hundred and fifty naira, were turned back to the victims’ relatives, Alhaji Ibrahim Ahmad Karakkai.
“The DCC, M Shehu, handed over the money and items on behalf of the Sector Commander, Tijjani IIiyasu.”
“The vehicle were traveling from Abuja to Zamfara State when the accident occurred.”
