
Katsina United has bid farewell to midfielder Azeez Falolu following his departure from the club.
Falolu is on the verge of joining an undisclosed Libyan club.
The Chanji Boys thanked the player in a statement released by the club’s chairman, Kabir Dan’lami Rimi.
Part of the statement reads: “Katsina United FC’s management has wished the club’s playmaker, Azeez Falolu, well in his future football career as he departs for Libya.”
“The management congratulates Azeez Falolu on reaching another milestone in his football career and appreciates his services to the squad.
“On behalf of the management, technical crew, staff, supporters, and sports-loving people in the state, we say goodbye and wish you more success in future endeavors.”
Falolu has made 15 appearances for Katsina United this season, scoring five goals.
