Members of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) stationed in Osun State have been reminded that the program is part of a tradition that has been a pillar of national unity and development since its establishment in 1973.
This charge was issued by the state governor, Ademola Adeleke, during his remarks during the swearing-in and formal opening ceremony of the 2024 Batch C Stream I orientation program at the NYSC permanent orientation camp in Ede.
Governor Adeleke, who was represented by the Commissioner for Youths, Moshood Olagunju, emphasized the need for discipline in achieving success and challenged the youth corps members to be law-abiding, disciplined, and totally devoted to the scheme’s goals
