Jaywon, a singer, has accused rapper Odumodublvck of using his name to gain clout.
He said that the ‘Declan Rice’ singer uses his name to be relevant in the music industry.
The two have been at odds since their social media dispute in 2024, which resulted in Jaywon producing a diss song for Odumodublvck.
In a recent Hip TV interview, Odumodublvck said that his social media battle with Jaywon was simply a joke, emphasizing that they are on good terms.
He did, however, add that Jaywon is only important once a year, when people request him to play his famous song ‘This Year’ at the New Year’s festivities.
“Forget that nonsense; Jaywon is my guy. I adore Jaywon. “He is relevant because they book him once a year,” Odumodublvck stated.
This did not sit well with Jaywon, who went to his X account to respond to Odumodublvck’s comments during the viral interview.
He stated, “Odumodu will constantly include my name in his interviews because that is the only way he can remain relevant.
“He confesses that none of his previous beef trends because they’re not Jaywon. When I said he’s not all that, it wasn’t beef it was just facts. Enjoy yourself, boy.
“I can’t stand the fact that Odumodu thinks I’m beefing with him. Yo, get over it and focus on your career, bro.
“Or is it that you just can’t handle the fact that I’ll always be relevant because of that one single you keep coming for?”
