
Olamijuwonlo Alao-Akala, a member of the House of Representatives, congratulated President Bola Tinubu for allocating funding to finish the dualisation of the Oyo-Ogbomoso expressway.
Alao-Akala, who represents Ogbomoso North, South, and Oriire Federal Constituency in Oyo State on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, made the remarks in a statement in Ibadan, the state capital.
He also thanked the Minister of Works, Dave Umahi, for his commitment to the project’s success.
The congressman went on to say that his perseverance paid off in the end.
Alao-Akala stated, “Let me reassure my constituents that I will continue to monitor the project to ensure its timely completion.
“President Tinubu, fully aware of the strategic importance of the Ibadan-Ilorin expressway, is committed to alleviating the challenges faced by road users, including students, traders, and haulage operators transporting goods and agricultural produce.
“The approval of this fund is a major milestone for infrastructure development and economic growth in the region. So, I want to commend President Tinubu for approving funds for the completion of the road project. I also express my appreciation to the Minister of Works, Umahi for his commitment to the progress of the project.”
