Victor Osimhen, a Super Eagles striker, is accused of hitting a journalist on a late-night expedition in Istanbul, Turkey.

Osimhen is presently on loan with Galatasaray from Napoli.

The incident occurred when Osimhen was leaving an entertainment establishment with his pals.

According to Posta Newspaper, many reporters, including journalist Tolga Bozduman, attempted to photograph the Nigerian.

However, the situation immediately became chaotic.

Bozduman stated, “I filmed Osimhen at the door with three of my colleagues.”

“When the flashes went off, chaos ensued. He raced at me, shouting. He tried to grab my camera away, but I refused to allow him.

“The blow he threw struck me in the head. My right side still aches. He then began cursing.

“Then he promised, ‘Destroy the footage, and I’ll pay you money.’ When I declined, he threatened me, saying, ‘I’ll ruin you’.”

Bozduman’s charges have yet to be publicly addressed by Osimhen or Galatasaray.

On the pitch, Osimhen enjoys a good spell with the turkish giants.

The 26-year-old has scored 15 goals and provided six assists in 19 matches across all competitions.
